Our goal is to give voice to the emotions, challenges, and cramps of the emotion, the adoption journey, whether it’s love, loss, graduate, or unanswered questions.

By featuring these letters, we hope to foster empathy, spark, meaningful conversations, and create a community where every experience is honored whether you choose to share or with your name, your story matters, and it has the power to help others feel seen heard and less alone.

Write a Letter to Your Adoption Connection!

We understand the complexities of adoption and how important it can be to express what’s in your heart. That’s why we’re giving you the opportunity to write a letter to your birth mom, birth dad, birth child, adoptive parents, adoptive children, siblings, etc.

Whether you’re an adoptee, birth parent, sibling, or part of an adoptive family, this space is for you! You can share your thoughts, emotions, and experiences-anonymously or with your name attached. It’s completely up to you if you want your letter to be featured or kept private.

Be Honest & Authentic

There’s no right or wrong way to share your feelings.

Keep it Respectful

While emotions can be raw, please avoid language that could harm others.

Choose your level of anonymity

Let us know if you’d like your letter to be anonymous, signed with your name, or featured with a pseudonym.

Word Count

Letters can be as short as a few sentences or up to 1,000 words.
